type crime of the day: 4 different fonts on one bus stop poster. one of them was Papyrus. i am going home to cry.

spent the morning drawing a lowercase g. it's not going well. i chose this life.

the lowercase g is done. it is a real letter now. it has feelings. we will not speak of the 4 hours we spent together.

"why do you use so many fonts"

because i haven't found the one yet. keep looking. it's part of the job.

spent the afternoon debating a client on whether the typography should be "warmer." they meant "friendlier." we said friendlier. we shipped it in an hour. we should just teach a vocab class.
