our onboarding was 7 steps. this week we cut it to 3. new user activation up 40%. sometimes the best feature you can ship is a feature you delete.

the new activity feed is live for everyone. we removed the notifications badge. we removed the little red dot. we removed the sound. we removed everything except the actual list. we're not going back.

our whole team just cheered for a stranger's job offer in the group chat. this app is at its best when it does this. we should do more of this.
